Sports Themed Birthday Party - Banner

Angie Holden’s son turned 7 so she threw him a sports themed party to remember forever!  He really wanted to have a bon fire so the party was outdoors with hotdogs, chili, s’mores, and all the trimmings.   As Angie was making the runner for the table with makers for the yard lines, he asked where the 60 yard line was.  They realized then that he does not know as much about football as he thinks he does!   But sports themed party it was.    They spent the evening playing football in the yard, Angie roasting hot dogs and marshmallows for the kids because they said it was too hot.  They opened presents before it got too dark.    The highlight was a hay wagon that her husband handmade for their son!  It fits behind his pedal tractor and was the perfect gift.

Angie was very crafty for this party, and even created a board on Pinterest with all that she wanted to do.   See yesterday’s post for all the great centerpieces she created.  Today I am sharing her Happy Birthday banner! It’s adorable and perfect for a sports themed party.

She created the flags, stamped from UBU All-Star Peel & Stick by PSA Essentials in royal ink,  then interchanged it with “Go Tigers” from our PSA Collegiate line (Clemson.)   Then she added the letters to spell out Happy Birthday and threaded the flags on twine from The Twinery.   A great banner that keeps the table looking festive!

Love this down to earth, homey party!
