The holiday Toys R Us catalog came. Before it made its way into the trash, it made
its way into my daughter’s hands. Darn catalog. I listened to a long list of “wants”
begrudgingly. I made mental notes of the
acceptable gifts for Christmas and mentally said “oh hell no” to most
others. Happily, Molly is now at an age where easy
board games are fun, so this year I am
thinking Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders might be a hit. Krissy
at B-Inspired Mamma used her PSA Essentials Funky Number Peel & Stick
stamps, her PSA Stamper and various PSA inks to create her own board game. Brilliant!
For this DIY board game, you will need:
·
white and red card stock
·
a pencil
·
PSA Funky Number Peel & Stick stamps
·
PSA Essentials Inks in Black and Pink, Black and
Lime, Black and Orange, and Black and Cabernet
·
Elmer's Glue Stick
·
Die
·
small plastic toys for markers
Krissy stamped the numbers around the board randomly and
then added a “start” and “finish.” The
directions to this game are simple – get
your action figure, spider or small toy to the end! Roll the die and go to the number. This helps with number recognition and is a
fun family game to play together. I
recommend laminating it to keep it protected.
Great idea Krissy – we adore your fun and educational ideas for
kids.
