Mermaids and Sharks Birthday Party

My daughter Molly has already made some good friends over the course of the last two years at May River  Montessori and two of them happen to be Mollie and Mason, who's mother knows how to throw an amazing party.  Last year the theme of the twins birthday party was "Bubble Guppies" and though Connor and I stayed home and missed it, Mollie still reminds us of when my Molly blew out her candles.  Good thing we were invited back this year despite last years candle ambush! (I kept her far away from this years cake...)  Here's a peek at all of the party details and a look at the DIY wrapping paper I created for the twins' gifts.   It was a great Sunday afternoon with friends.  Happy Birthday to Mollie & Mason!

From personalized water bottles to banners, flip flop and bubble party favors, a personalized cake, shark cookies, mermaid cookies and cupcakes, and a buffet of food, Tiffany (the 6 months pregnant mother of three already) completely out did herself.   Ryan, her husband, too!

Check out this adorable cake from Ronnie's Bakery, Cakes by Lou!

Here's Molly and her best friend Parker.  Parker learned to swim last week and is really doing an amazing job!

Time to sing and have some sweets!

Looks like they have plenty of gifts to open.  Do you spy my DIY wrapping job?

I created some wrapping paper using my PSA Essentials stamper and my PSA Vanilla Peel & Stick stamp set.  Using the number 4 for Mollie and Mason who were turning 4, I stamped using my royal blue ink over and over again on white kraft paper.  It was easy to do with my stamper.

I tied some festive summery ribbon and viola!  Easy!

And off we went after a few hours of swimming and eating with a super cute pair of flip flops!  Seriously, is it not the cutest party you've ever seen?
