Weekend Plans

What are your weekend plans? Mine are drinks on Friday night with some girls. This cute card "Drinks" card by Carly Robertson is adorable and I would love to send them out to friends for the next girls night or for an invitation for a special night out on the town. She used the "Drinks" stamp from PSA Date Night and embellished with a ribbon. I love the way she has colored in the stamp, too!

Every married couple with children needs a date night! Not a night out with other friends, and going to holiday parties don't count (because the girls just end up in one room while the guys end up playing poker in another) but a TRUE date night. I am talking about a dinner at a quiet, amazing restaurant like Michael Anthony's or Sage Room in Hilton Head. We don't do a date night all that often, I know some couples who make it a habit of doing one once a month, some even go as crazy as once a week. Mike & I truthfully are home bodies – we put Molly to bed around 7 pm and lately we have been sitting outside with a bottle of wine in front of the fire pit, but every so often we have a really nice date night.

This card by Carly Robertson is an adorable way to invite your hubby or significant other to a night out. Of course, you will probably have more fun making it (and certainly spend more time creating it then he will reading it). But save it on your fridge and remind yourselves to do a date night more often!

Leave a comment today and we will give one lucky winner a PSA Date Night Peel & Stick pack.   Have a great weekend – whatever your weekend plans may be!

  4. We are having a holiday party at our house tomorrow evening so you know its crazy around here. We try to do a date night every couple of months. During the month of Jan we usually do a birthday weekend but this year we are spending as much time as we can with our two girls. My Hubby will be leaving for Korea Feb 1st, he'll be gone for 12 months. So we won't get our weekend but we do have a date night planned for the new year.

  6. It's a big weekend for us! Our son will leave his college campus this afternoon and drive til he's home, about 12 hours. He'll get home in the middle of the night, no doubt. Tomorrow our youngest daughter's best friend is getting married, and our daughter is the maid of honor. Should be a fun weekend! Sunday may be recuperation, though there is shopping and baking to be done...

  7. I am going out for a Christmas dinner tonight with just my mom my brother and myself. I am looking forward to the time spent just the three of us together. Times like this are far and few between so tonight will be a special night. I am blessed :-)
And then when I get home I am spending quality time with my boyfriend making Christmas cards. I truly am blessed....

  8. My hubby and I could use a nice date night.... I don't know when we will fit one in though! I just got a job to work weekends so I would have some extra money to support my scrapbooking habit!

  10. Our fave Pizza King restaurant and Fantasy of Lights with the kids. Not super romantic for the hubs and I, but a wonderful family tradition around Christmas time that we treasure. ;-)

  11. No date night here :-( No significant other. My weekend excitement is with my CTMH buddies, making cards at the Java Hut on Saturday morning. There's no reason I couldn't make up a pack of cards for each of my sisters so they could use them !
