Rustic Barn Wedding

My best friend from high school, Jenny, got married this weekend at Longlook Farm in Sandborton, New Hampshire.  It was one of the most beautiful settings I've ever seen -- their ceremony venue was breathtaking and their barn reception was just... cool.  It was an afternoon and evening uniquely representative of the couple, their love, and about celebrating it with their friends and family. Nothing pretentious and lavish in its own way, this was a beautiful real wedding.  I loved every detail of it almost as much as I love them.

I loved all the DIY crafts and projects that Jenny spent weeks on.  From a DIY photo booth, flower crowns, the bar, guest book/invitation, and adorable favors, Jenny's creativity and artistic spirit showed through.    And wouldn't you know that a PSA Essentials personalized stamp popped up in her crafts?  Here's a look at some of the highlights.

Jenny did the artwork for this invitation and then it was blown up in a poster size and used for their guest book!

Jenny's dad built this sign and he and Jenny painted it.  It was a very international group at this wedding - all of these places were represented with guests at the wedding.

The bar was completely DIY and Jenny thought of everything!  She made signs for different wines, they had cider, a magarita bar, a Prosecco bar complete with berries and fruit, and TONS of beer loaded with ice in a vintage bath tub.

Jenny MADE all of these floral crowns to wear!

The photo booth was a real hit! Jenny sewed on the twine and made all of the mustache and sunglasses props!

This vintage table set up was for all the sweets and coffee!

I loved the drapery and twinkly lights inside!

Everyone enjoyed the firepit, the bar and the dancefloor well into the night.

We had to take a few silly bridal party pictures...

And there's where that PSA Essentials stamp makes its appearance!  Lesley at PSA Essentials designed a custom stamp for Jenny with her new last name and "est. 2013."  Jenny used it to mark the favors and stamp on burlap bags filled with lavender.

I adore how the stamp turned out!  This wedding will go down in history as one of my favorites of all time.  Obviously because of how much I love Jenny and her husband Dan, but also because the day was truly about the couple. All to often people loose sight of what a wedding is all about.  Jenny never did.  She was the most relaxed bride I've ever seen.  Perfection!
