Mommy calling cards are all the rage. Visit my favorite stationery sites like Fine Stationery, Minted, Tiny Prints, and Paper Source and entire categories are devoted to this trend. Business cards for kids, wee-ones pass them out to new friends on the playground, at school, or at extracurricular activities to essentially pick-up play dates. "Have your mom call my mom!" Though I haven't entirely adopted it, I make no judgment on this trend since apparently it's the thing to do. And since I love stationery so I found a few that were cute:
Our contributor Monika Wright created some adorable ones for a fraction of the price of stationery stores. She used the telephone stamp from PSA Frenchie Peel & Stick pack and some vibrant lime and pink polka dot paper. She used a ½ inch circle punch and layered into a 1" inch scalloped punch to create this tin for the calling cards to go inside.
To make them extra special, she incorporated twine from The Twinery into the design. These are sure to stand out from the crowd.
These came out very cute! TFS!!!
