Just Because

Have you ever received pretty flowers – just because?  My favorite flowers are pink peonies and ranunculus.   Mike, are you reading?

What about a card?   Have you ever received one in the mail – just because?   Have you ever received a handmade card in the mail, for absolutely no reason at all?  Getting a beautiful card nestled in the clutter of all the junk mail and bills feels fantastic.   Here are some ideas to try by our newest design team member, Vera Yates.

The best part about these designs is the simplicity.   Just like a simple bouquet of flowers, you don't need to do much to brighten someone's day.  Here Vera stamped the dog from Skelanimals Thomas and Friends.   She matched it with a "Woof" stamp and "You are simply the best" stamp.  The three work well together and set against the white background, they are plain and simple but pack a punch.

Up next, Vera created a "Thinking of You today" card using the penguin stamp from Skellanimals Chip & Friends.    I am happy to see a designer use Skelanimals stamps that aren't Halloween related.  These cards prove the stamps are versatile for other occassions, too!
