Thanksgiving Greeting Cards

Card makers take note of these two simple and really beautiful cards by Kelley Eubanks. I love the colors (and sentiments) that truly celebrate fall. Here's a quick step by step on how to recreate both. Get creative with different sentiment and image stamps, colors and materials to make it your own.

First, cut and score base. Round bottom corners and ink edges with distress ink. Stamp the letters to spell "fall" using PSA Essentials Vanilla Peel & Stick stamps. Use an acrylic block and Not Quite Navy, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green and Riding Hood Red by Stampin' Up! (These are GREAT fall colors, aren't they?). Then tie twine at the top.

For this card, cut and score base. Cut cream 3.5 square and stamp sentiment. Stamp Hello Kitty from PSA Hello Kitty Trick or Treat, color and punch both circles. Ink all edges with distress ink. Adhere all layers with dimensionals.

Both cards are great to send family and friends who are far away that you aren't seeing during the holidays! Do you send Thanksgiving greeting cards? For me, any holiday is an excuse to send a card!
