Easter Tote Bag

Last year Mae Armstrong created a tote bag using PSA Essentials Peel & Stick stamps for us that we just LOVE and really out did herself with her Easter projects. We had to share a few this season! The first one is a stamping and sewing project.  If sewing intimidates you (like me!) have no fear, Mae has made it really simple to follow on her blog with a step by step tutorial.  Hop on over to her blog for all the details on how to make.

Stacking Boxes

Today we I am sharing a project by Ginger Snap Crafts that we just love because it's educational, seasonal and fun for kids!  Ginger created a project to teach numbers using jelly beans and stacking boxes.  This creative Momma really knows how to come up with cute kids projects.

Using her Silhouette, she used Easter craft paper to create stacking boxes.

Then she filled the first one up with jelly beans.

Using her PSA Funky Numbers Peel & Stick stamp set, she stamped numbers on paper, punched out and then adhered to the boxes.  This way the kids can count and sort their jelly beans into the stacking boxes.   What a fun activity for the kids.  My daughter Molly would love this!

When she was finished, she tied it all up with twine from The Twinery!  It's an adorable addition to Easter baskets this year.

Paper Crafter's rejoice in today's post chalk full of beautiful handmade cards and tags for Easter. These works of art by our design team showcase PSA Essentials Peel & Stick stamps, which are perfect for creating cards, layouts, gifts and more.

Anthonette Chavez created this Easter Egg heart using our egg stamp from PSA Topiary Peel & Stick pack. We simply adore the detail.  She stamped "Happy Easter" from PSA Topiary, as well.

Kelly Eubanks created this trio of bunnies using PSA Little Bunny Peel & Stick pack in a clean and simple card design.

Easter is on it's way!

Anyone who knows me knows that Easter is just about my favorite holiday!  Warmer weather (not too hot in South Carolina!) and longer days -- Easter in Springtime brings such freshness and life!  I love the colors of Easter and all the wonderful opportunity for kids crafting.  Each year, my mother and I host an Easter Egg Hunt at her home.  For weeks leading up to the party, my daughter Molly and I work on a variety of Easter projects.  I'll be sharing them over the next few weeks!

Are you ready to get started on Easter?  Save this when you are ready to decorate eggs!  Stamped eggs are a great way to decorate.   Use a variety of stamps, ink colors, and get creative!  This idea is a monogram egg and several dozen would surely make an impact on a table.   You could also use these as "place cards" at the table to indicate where people should sit.

Gina at the Shabby Creek Cottage stamped some eggs for Easter using her PSA Essentials Vanilla Peel & Stick stamps.   She placed the stamp on an acrylic block and dipped it in a black ink pad.  Then she carefully stamped on the egg.   Since the surface is round, a perfect impression is hard to achieve.  She colored in the stamp with a black marker to get rounded and perfect edges.   Let it dry before touching!

What are you doing to get ready for Easter?  We can't wait to hear!

Sugar Scrub Gift

Diana at The Girl Creative made the most divine looking Sugar Scrub to give as a gift.  Give this to a friend who needs a little pampering, to your babysitter, or to your mother-in-law so she can relax and put her feet up!  (Oh, heck -- make it for yourself!)  A small, homemade gift really shows you care.  (Some girls need a little pampering!)  Diana calls it "Winter White Sugar Scrub" and she's used a snowflake from PSA Whimsy Flakes as a tag to dress it up.

Winter White Sugar Scrub

Doesn't it look amazing? Good enough to eat!

Sugar Scrub

I absolutely adore the stamp tag tied perfectly with twine.

DIY Sugar Scrub

Here's the recipe:

1.5 C of white granulated sugar
1/4 C of baby oil
1 tbsp of vaseline
1 tbsp of hand soap
Just mix it all together and spoon it into your jar. The amount of each ingredient can be tweaked to your liking. Diana used baby oil but you can use any oil that you have on hand.  See her round up of 15 different sugar scrubs -- if this is your thing, be sure to check this post out!

50% Peel & Stick sale starts today!

If you aren't 100% sure what PSA Essentials Peel & Stick stamps are, watch our video.  You will see that most stamps are glued directly onto the stamper.  Not PSA -- we have patented technology where our stamp dies are SUPER sticky, you can PEEL off your design, STICK on a new one, and then repeat.  The dies never loose their stickiness.  We have THOUSANDS of Peel & Stick stamp collections.   This means you can change up your personalized address stamp middle (your last name, your monogram...) and add in a cupcake.  Or a Christmas tree.  Or an American flag.  You can get creative with your correspondence.  I always change up my middle to suit the card, invitation, or even bills I am sending.   For my daughters birthday, I use "your invited" or a cupcake. It makes sending mail just a bit more fun!

Our Peel & Stick stamps also work alone, on an acrylic block, so you can use our stamps just like any other clear rubber stamp.  Create cards, scrapbook layouts, DIY home decor, gift wrap, gift tags, and much more. This blog is dedicated to the use of Peel & Stick stamps -- we have thousands of projects and ideas for you! If you are new to this blog, be sure to search our archives and use the search box to find what you are interested in.

This card was created using the butterfly from PSA Cupcake, one of our best selling collections.

Today and tomorrow, PSA Essentials is having a 50% OFF SALE on all Peel & Stick stamps! A pack of 10 stamps usually retails for $15, but today and tomorrow, is just $7.50 each.  Visit this site to get yours now!

Weekend Recap

We had a wonderful weekend enjoying family time! It was action packed but relaxing at the same time, a perfect combination and just the way I like it.  Saturday morning we started by making a birthday card for our friend, Jettie, and then headed off to a FROZEN themed birthday party! We used a cupcake from PSA Whimsy Cake Peel & Stick stamps by PSA Essentials and Molly colored it up.... (Connor was a mess with crafts and markers as usual...)

This Frozen party was epic.  An incredible dessert bar, massive cake, bounce house, make-your-own Olaf marshmallow treats, face painting, microphones for a sing-a-long, and wine for the adults!  It was at Corks in Bluffton

On Sunday, we went to Three Sisters Farm to pick daffodils! We went with our friends the Spencers and enjoyed a sunny Sunday morning running through the fields of beautiful blooms.

Ready now for a busy work week! What are your week plans?
