Mother's Day is May 11

Mother's Day is May 11th and it's fast approaching if you are looking to get Mom something personalized or make anything for her.  We always loved this handmade clean and simple card by Carly Robertson. She used PSA Topiary Peel & Stick pack with her PSA Stamper.

In this card, Carly used PSA Cupcake Peel & Stick pack to stamp the butterfly. Here are a few more of Carly's beautiful cards to share to inspire you for Mother's Day!

Need a gift tag? Create a beautiful tag like this one. Tami Mayberry used PSA Cupcake to create this one.

The talented Jeanne Streiff made this "MOM" card using PSA Vanilla Peel & Stick pack.

There's a variety of styles of cards shown here but as you can see, PSA Essentials stamps are versatile enough to use in a variety of stamping projects.  How are you preparing for Mother's Day? What projects are you working on? We'd love to hear!

PSA Essentials thrilled to be giving away a huge package in partnership with our long time retailer, Expressionery.  Do you know Expressionery?  We love their witty sense of humor (last week their home page on their website told me "you are better than a text." It's true.  I am, aren't I?!)  We love all of their great stationery products -- they have a huge selection of personalized note cards, thank you notes and invitations. Right up my alley.   I love this thank you fold over note.

Today we are giving away 1 PSA Essentials personalized stamp, 2 Peel & Stick packs, 1 stampable stationery set, 1 color ink, 1 alignment tool, and free shipping to the winner.   Our personalized stamps make the perfect gift for Mother's Day, bridal gifts or for housewarming or hostess gifts.  Our patented Peel & Stick technology allows you to interchange your stamp designs and switch out your middles.  Keep you outer address stamp on and switch out your monogram for an easter egg, or a christmas tree, or birthday cupcake.  Whatever your occasion, PSA Essentials has a middle for you.   Shop all of our PSA Essentials products on Expressionery!

Easter Egg Hunt Recap

Happy Easter! What a terrible weather weekend we had here in the Lowcountry.  Our 4th annual Easter Egg Hunt was supposed to be held at my parents house on the beach on Friday, but the forecast was threatening 100% chance of rain.  Rather than cancel it, my mom and I threw the party at Station 300 Bowling Alley. They had a private room where we were able to decorate and "hide" eggs.  While the kids waited for everyone to arrive, we had snacks and drinks and colored on custom made coloring pages. The hunt for about 500 eggs between 13 kids lasted only a few minutes, and then we were off to bowl! It was a great party spent with friends and family.  A little wild and crazy but plenty of fun! We missed all those that couldn't make it due to weather, sickness, work, etc. Here's a look back on this year's Easter Egg Hunt!

Here are the cupcake toppers made with my PSA Essentials Peel & Stick stamps (Topiary) and my PSA Stamper.  Easy to make!  I made the coloring page by googling clip art of bowling and easter eggs. I photoshopped them together with some text.  Done!

Here are the hosts -- me and my mom!  See -- we really listened to our signage.  When there was rain, we "kept calm and hunted on." Molly and Connor were SO excited for the party.

When everyone was there, the kids started "hunting" for eggs!

There was no shortage of eggs! So then it was time to grab a snack and head out to the bowling lanes. My hubby, Mike, was on Connor duty most of the evening...

What's a party without cupcakes?

A huge thank you to my mom, the best co-host there is!  What a wonderful party.  Hope you have had a great Easter, as well!

Easter Egg Hunt Day

Our 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt is today and we could not be more excited.  The weather forecast showed 100% chance of rain, so we moved our traditional beach egg hunt to..... the bowling alley! It should be wild and crazy with 24 kids and 25 adults but cannot wait to see everyone.  My mom and I couldn't bear the thought of cancelling the hunt.  We sincerely love this tradition and besides -- what would I do with all those crafts?  Here's a sneak peek of all that I have been working on! I had some help from "bunny elves" the Bradford's and Molly and Connor, too...

I ordered adorable invitations from my favorite stationer and return address stamped them with my PSA Essentials personalized address stamp. I swapped out my middle monogram for a little bunny from PSA Little Bunny Peel & Stick pack. I like how this adds a festive touch to the invitation.  Changing out the middle is so easy, I really do it for every occasion.

I love the way the banner turned out! I used PSA Topiary Peel & Stick stamps and my personalized "Easter Egg Hunt" stamp (I just personalized the Gillian style).

I had some bunny elves help with the stuffing of the eggs (we stopped around 700). Our good friends The Bradford's came over on Wednesday night to help!

Yesterday Molly and I spent some time dying Easter eggs which we may use for decorations at the Egg Hunt or for our own hunt Sunday.

I'll be sure to recap the event this weekend! It's sure to be lots of fun.  Happy almost Easter!
