Helmar USA & PSA Essentials – Day 5

So long before Jill Zarin, The Countess and rest of the cast of RHONY went to Morocco, I was coveting a lantern from that part of the world. A Moroccan lantern would add a real eclectic look to my house, which looks more like a wannabe Pottery Barn room (it's a real "safe" style and needs some spice!) I found this one at an online store called "Just Morocco" a few months ago.


Anthonette Chavez created a card that reminds me of this lantern that I would just love to have. She's stamped from PSA Rosettas, colored them up and embellished a few. I love, love, love the pattern the Rosettas have created. They are dancing on the page just the way the light dances off the walls. She's used Helmar 450 Quick Dry to glue all the gems and paper. And want to know a secret? She didn't sew anything….it is a white gel pen! Did she fool you?



Today is our last day officially spotlighting Helmar projects but you can be sure that we will be using Helmar in our designs often! You always need a great adhesive in crafting and Helmar products are excellent.

    I have never seen a Moroccan Lantern before. Love how it projects lights onto the walls. Thanks for showing this. I agree the card is beautiful like the lantern. A beautiful job on the card with coloring and stamping. All held together with Helmar glues.

    We have a Morrocan lamp that my parents bought on a trip over 40 years ago. It gets passed from sibling to sibling as the decorating mood dictates. Thanks for the inspiration. PS...love Helmar products!
